Saundersfoot Sailing Club will be running a number of social events between now and Christmas, including the following:
Saturday, September 27 - live music in the bar from 8 pm with drinks and nibbles, £5 per person. Members my sign their guests in. Please contact Kate on 07961452837 or email [email protected]">[email protected] or the sailing club for more information.
October 11 - laying-up supper and prize-giving. All members welcome, buffet supper will be served.
November 8 - annual end-of-season event. Bowling, followed by supper at the sailing club. This event was very popular last year, so book your places! £8 per person, inclusive of a two-course supper. Please contact Kate as above.
December 19 - carols and mince pies by candlelight in the sailing club.
New Year's Eve - open for drinks and to watch the amazing fireworks over the harbour.
The bar is open every Friday night and Sunday lunchtime.
Social membership is available all year round for a small fee of £5 - please call in and ask for details.
SAILING
Safety boat training/power boat course: This is a two-day course which will be run in the spring. It is available to members free of charge if they are prepared to help on the rota and provide cover for weekend races. For non-members, there is a fee of £50 to cover both days. Anyone wishing to have their name put on the waiting list should contact the club for more details.
Calling all adults, juniors, beginners, improvers: The start times for race sessions over the next few weeks are as follows: tomorrow (Saturday) - 8.30 am; September 27 - 4 pm; October 4 - 8.30 am.
