Coppet Week (May 25-30) is the annual dinghy regatta which takes place in the Whitsun Bank Holiday week. It aims to cater for family sailors and others who wish to combine competitive sailing. One race is held per day over the six days. The event regularly attracts 70-100 competitors who return year after year to meet and race against old friends. They range from class world champions to children of regulars in what may be their first experience of dinghy racing on sea. Social Events
Many thanks to those who have supported the club over the past month. The coffee morning on Bank Holiday Monday raised £150 towards sail train equipment. Many thanks to the trainees, their parents and the sail raining volunteers. The curry and bingo night was well attended and enjoyed by all. David, May and Graham provided an excellent feast!
