Last Saturday, there was an excellent turnout for the annual prize-giving and laying-up supper. The evening got underway with a treasure hunt for the children, a game of 'alternative bingo' and then Oppie racing, after which everyone tucked into the lovely spread of food.

Once everyone was nourished, the presentations started.

A new award this year was presented to Tom Owen for 'Best Contribution by a Non-sailing Newcomer'.

It was a very enjoyable evening and many thanks must go to everyone who attended and all those who helped in any way. Special thanks to Graham for doing so much preparation at home and in the galley and to Mick for running the bar.

We look forward to seeing several of the new sailors out on the water for the Sunday races next season. John and Paul will welcome some more competition and will not object to losing some of their annual collection of trophies to worthy sailors.

Apologies for any omissions or errors.
