Saundersfoot Rotary Club has thanked the Lotus Drivers Club of West Wales for a £700 donation, aiding community projects.

The Lotus Drivers Club recently returned to the seaside village of Saundersfoot for their 10th annual visit over the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Established in 2016 by David and Sian Boneham, this annual Driving Adventure has become one of the club’s most-loved and popular annual driving events.

This year, around 50 Lotus cars of varying models joined in for two days of driving around the county; whilst the vehicles gathered at the Coppet Hall car park over the Saturday and Sunday, gaining quite an audience for families to enjoy the sight of these colourful cars.

The cars then set off on carefully selected routes around the county, aiming to supply a mix of breathtaking driving roads and scenic viewpoints.

“Saundersfoot Rotary Club would like to extend our sincere thanks to The Hean Castle Estate and the Lotus Drivers Club West Wales for their incredible generosity and support,” a spokesperson for the Rotary Club shared.

“Each May, the Lotus Drivers Club visits Saundersfoot and holds a collection among its members for a charity chosen by The Hean Castle Estate. We were honoured to be selected as this year’s beneficiary.

“Recently, Rotarians gathered at Coppet Hall Beach Centre, where David Boneham from Lotus Drivers Club West Wales presented a very generous donation of £700 to Saundersfoot Rotary.

“This fantastic contribution will help us continue to organise and support charitable events, community projects and activities throughout the year for the benefit of our local community.

“Thank you to everyone involved, especially The Hean Castle Estate and the Lotus Drivers Club, for helping us make a positive difference in Saundersfoot and beyond,” they added.

2026 marked the 10th hosting of the Club in the ever-popular seaside resort of Saundersfoot.
