Proposals for a ‘taxi rank’ to be introduced, to serve Saundersfoot Railway Station have been put to Community Councillors of the seaside village.
At the recent meeting of Saundersfoot Community Council, members discussed the proposal from the Local Authority.
Pembrokeshire County Council asked members of the council for feedback on the proposals via County Councillor for the village’s north ward, and chair of the community council, Cllr Alec Cormack on the creation of a dedicated taxi rank at the station facility.
It was also discussed around the table that plans are in the pipeline for the introduction of a ‘give-way’ for traffic travelling under the bridge in that location.
It was unanimously resolved by members that there was no objections to the proposals.
