Saundersfoot is blooming and busily preparing for the visit of the Wales in Bloom judges on Thursday, July 6.
The judges will look at the seaside village’s plant selection, prioritising perennial or pollinator friendly plants over annuals.
They will also look at maintenance of planted areas to ensure the village takes account of biodiversity throughout the seasons. Judges will also focus on use of sustainable practices and materials wherever possible.
Volunteers have already taken part in several litter picks in the village and two more have been arranged.
Please assemble at the top of the slipway on Sunday, July 2 at 7 am and also at 8.30 am on Thursday, July 6.
“We hope that anyone having any form of flower display will keep tending them throughout the season,” said Saundersfoot Community Council chair Cllr Martyn Williams.
