President of Saundersfoot in Bloom, Mr. Duncan Hilling, chaired the election at the recent annual general meeting.

Officials for the next year are: chairman - Mr. Keith Williams; vice-chairman - Mrs. Joan Allen; honorary secretary - Rosemary Hayes; hon. treasurer - Mrs. Joan Nicholls.

A review of last year's work was carried out and plans made for this year. The flower festival is at St. Issell's Church, August 6-10, and the draw for position took place. Judging will take place on Wednesday, August 7, for the main garden competition and entry forms are in the Tourist Information Centre.

Prizes for the best poster were presented at Pentlepoir School, by kind permission of Mr. Rees, headteacher. Winners were:

Pentlepoir School - Ricky Price, Daniel Tulley, Joshua Ball, Jordon Boswell, Mark Price and Sean Boswell.

Netherwood School - Verity Baulch, Theo Morgan-Summers, Morwenna Jones, Charles Ramsden, George Sandifer-Smith, Carys Mills, Winnie Courtene-Jones and Alice Bendall.

Saundersfoot School - Katie Newman, Harry Whitehurst, Kate Williams, Morgan Roberts, Eleanor Stevens and Lucy Hadley.

Overall winners up to seven-years-old - Kate Williams, Saundersfoot, and eight and over, Eleanor Stevens, Saundersfoot.
