This week saw the presentation of prizes to the winners of the annual Saundersfoot in Bloom competition. The ceremony took place at St. Brides Hotel, by kind permission of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Evans, and prizes were presented by Clr. Bill Cleevely, chairman of Saundersfoot Community Council. Raydene Deakin, Alray, The Ridgeway. Best window boxes, tubs and hanging baskets: 1. Tessa Pearson, Valley Farm; 2. Margaret Mellin, Bryn Cottage, Pentlepoir. Best senior citizens garden: 1. Gwyneth Jenkins, 9 Westfield Court and Mr. and Mrs. Rich, Sun Valley. Best garden not visible from the road: 1. Phillip Brace, 4 Sandyhill Park; 2. Ann Clarke, Pennant Avenue.
