Prizes were presented to the winners of the poster competition at Saundersfoot School by kind permission of head teacher Miss Helen Lester, by the chairman of Saundersfoot in Bloom, Mr. Keith Williams. Keith congratulated the winners and thanked everyone for taking park. The standard was very high and the judges had a difficult task. Winners were: Netherwood School: Group A - 1. Jareth Jacky; 2. Sam Fussell; Group B - 1. Ellie Short; 2. James Arkinstall. Saundersfoot School: up to four years - 1. Jade Messer; 2. Johnny McIlnee; five and six years -1. Maeci Davies; 2. Alice Sloane; seven and eight years - 1. Charlotte Rees; 2. Lorgan Williams; nine and over - 1. Caitlin Prestwich; 2. Kate Sloane. Best overall junior: Charlotte Rees (Saundersfoot). Best overall senior: Caitlin Prestwich (Saundersfoot). The flower festival will be held at St. Issell's Church from Tuesday, June 24, to Saturday, June 28. Entry forms for Saundersfoot in Bloom are available at the Tourist Information Centre and judging will take place on Wednesday, July 23.
