Irish dancers from Wales, Ireland and Holland were welcomed to Saundersfoot on Sunday for a competition hosted by the village's Hynes School of Irish Dancing. The event, the Julie Hynes Memorial Feile, is to take place annually in memory of Julie, the founder of the school, which is now run by her daughter Jenny. Generous support from a number of sponsors contributed to the success of the day, particularly from Chevron, Saundersfoot Sports and Social Club, Tees R Us and Hanneke van der Laan, of the Dutch Irish dancing school, Damhsa na Nog. Pictured above with dancers Shannon Robins, Siobhan O'Sullivan and Alice Davies are, from the left, Saundersfoot Sports and Social Club treasurer Harry Smith; Phil Thompson of Chevron; Jenny Hynes; competition judge Yvonne Carolan; Hanneke van der Laan and competition judge Marianne Quinn.
