TWO young men, James Picton and Andrew Dennis, both of Saundersfoot, have successfully completed the Physical Training Qualifying Course Number 47 and passed out at HMS Temeraire, The Royal Navy School of Physical Training at Portsmouth, on Friday. Twenty-one-year-old James is seen here (second from left) with the First Sea Lord Admiral Sir Alan West, his parents Janet and Terry Picton and sister Angharad. Indeed, it was the second time for Janet, a Lieutenant Commander (SSC) with the Sea Cadets, to meet the First Sea Lord in recent weeks, as she also met him during an official engagement at the House of Commons. Andrew, meanwhile, is also pictured below receiving a campaign medal for service in Iraq.
