A social media ‘mishap’ has seen Saundersfoot Community Council’s Facebook page removed.

A spokesperson for the Community Council shared: “Earlier this month we announced our new Instagram account on our Facebook page. Sadly Facebook felt that this infringed their Community Standards and suspended the page.

“On appeal they then announced that we’d somehow also infringed their Cyber Security standards and permanently removed the page!

“We have spent the last couple of weeks trying to contact Facebook to ask them to review their decision but so far that’s been proving impossible.

“We are doing our very best to get the page restored and we will keep you posted with progress.”
