Saundersfoot Community Council has welcomed two new members that have been co-opted this month.
“We’re absolutely delighted to introduce not one, but two fantastic new Community Councillors — Bev Bennett and Rob Thomas,” the Community Council shared.
“Both are Saundersfoot residents and share a real passion for getting involved and making a difference.
“A huge warm welcome to you both — we can’t wait to work alongside you in helping our community thrive!” they added.
Bev is already a familiar face to many, with her hands full in all sorts of local groups — from the RNLI Saundersfoot shop and fundraising team, to Saundersfoot Social (supporting adults with learning difficulties and additional needs), St Issell’s WI, and PIVOT (our wonderful Home From Hospital team).
Bev said: “I am delighted to have another outlet to effectively serve the village.”
Rob brings a wealth of experience from his career in Health & Safety, contract management, procurement, and budgeting — plus years as a Project Manager overseeing resources, programmes, and budgets up to £15 million.
On top of that, he’s been a dedicated school governor for more than 25 years.
“Rob remarked: “I take a keen interest in what is going on and am looking forward to having the opportunity to contribute.”
