The Saundersfoot Community Council precept has increased by 3% - which matches the annual CPI inflation rate.

On February 20, Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC) finalised the Council Tax increase for next year, 2026-2027, at 4.6%.

“The PCC increase is lower than in recent years, due to a better than expected increase in (AEF) funding from Welsh Government of 4.2%, as well as a reduction in the level of pension payments that the Council has to make for current and past employees,” explained the seaside village’s Community Council chair Cllr Alec Cormack.

“The two largest elements of the PCC budget are Social Care and Education, which together account for over 80% of the Council's revenue budget.”
