There was plenty of festive cheer at Saundersfoot Bowling Club on Sunday when the club held its annual Christmas lunch.

Members and friends were treated to a delicious Yuletide feast before singing carols and enjoying a visit from Father Christmas and his cat!

Chairman Paul Blayney thanked vice-chairlady Kath Blayney, Diane Rigden and Claire Pritchard Jones for cooking the lunch, and helpers, Sue Roden, Ceris Hewlings, Myrddin, Hayley and Joe Dennis, Brian Deeley for manning the bar, and George and Mary Cavell for administering the finances and selling raffle tickets.

All members, friends and fellow bowlers in the county are wished a merry Christmas and a happy New Year and are reminded that the club will be open on New Year's Day as usual following the swim.

Ladies' dinner

Members of Saundersfoot and St. Issell's gathered at Manian Lodge, Begelly, on Friday for an end-of-season/Christmas dinner. An enjoyable time was had by all. Thanks go to Sue Roden for organising it.
