Although lawn bowls is not an Olympic sport, Welsh international Ceris Hewlings swapped her red top for the Saundersfoot New Year's Day Swim 2012 shirt at the recent Atlantic Championships in Cyprus.

Swimmers for the 2012 swim are invited to come dressed as their Olympic heroes or showing their support for Team GB in red, white and blue. The 2012 swim will start at 12.30 pm, not 11.30 am as in previous years. For further information, please view www,saundersfootnyds.co.uk.

Coffee morning

A successful coffee morning was held on Saturday, raising £300 for club funds. Many thanks to everyone who supported, including the Steps2Health walkers.

Christmas lunch

The ever-popular Christmas lunch will be held on Sunday, December 11, 12.30 for 1 pm. Three-course festive lunch, entertainment, plus a visit from Santa. Cost is £12.50. A list is on the noticeboard for all those wishing to attend to sign their names.

Pre-AGM meeting

Members of the management committee are reminded that there will be a pre-AGM meeting on Tuesday in the clubhouse at 6 pm. The annual general meeting takes place on Wednesday, November 30, at 7 pm, also in the clubhouse. All members please attend.
