Congratulations and good luck to Ann Lewis and Ceris Hewlings who have been selected to play in the Welsh international trials to be held in Llandrindod Wells on Monday, May 5.
John Badham
The committee and members were saddened to hear of the passing on Thursday of club member John Badham. John, who was county president in 1991, was also a life member of the club. His funeral took place yesterday (Thursday). Everyone at the club extends their sympathy to Esme and the family.
Fixtures
Saundersfoot entertained Kidwelly in the first friendly game of the season on Sunday. Tomorrow (Saturday), Saundersfoot kick-off their Division One campaign with an away game at Milford, while St. Issell's play Fishguard at home in Division Two. Both games start at 2 pm. On Monday, St. Issell's Ladies travel the short distance to Tenby for a 5.30 pm match.
Junior Bowls Coaching
Bowls coaching for the juniors will begin on Tuesday, May 6. Coaches will be at the green from 3.30 to 5.30 pm. Budding bowlers are asked to wear flat shoes or trainers, and girls are asked to wear trousers or tracksuit bottoms.
