You might think it's too early to start thinking about Christmas, but not if you are a member of Saundersfoot Footlights! Their pantomime was cast back in September and opens early next month on Monday, December 8.
This year's production is the traditional story of Aladdin, very freely adapted and starring Footlights regulars as well as new faces, Carys Bromby as Princess So-Shi, Liz Jewson as Chow Mien and Rebecca Hamilton as the Fairy of the Ring.
The chorus this year is bigger than ever and ranges in age from seven-year-olds in their first production to... those a bit older! They are busy learning songs, the tunes of which you will know even if the words are unfamiliar, together with dances choreographed by Andrea Thomas and Hulda Wright, as well as trying on costumes painstakingly sorted out by Footlights' excellent costume team.
Aladdin will run in the evenings from Monday to Friday, December 8 to 12 inclusive, plus a matinee on Saturday, December 13, in the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot.
