The people of south-east Pembrokeshire awoke to a surprise on Saturday morning - another snowfall!

The wintry weather returned, covering Tenby, Saundersfoot and Narberth areas in a white blanket of two or three inches of snow.

For the third time in a month, gardens and well-known locations were transformed into picture postcard scenes. Many local children also enjoyed sledging and building snowmen.

However, the weather also brought chaos, mainly to the roads, with drivers forced to abandon their cars and walk to their destinations.

Two roads were temporarily closed on Saturday morning because of snow - the Tenby to Sageston road and the B4329 mountain road across the Preselis near Brynberian.

Amazingly, however, the likes of neighbouring Pembroke and Pembroke Dock remained clear, as did Whitland.

The picture above was taken on Tenby's Narberth Road at the height of the blizzard. More photographs inside.
