A great day was had by all attending the recent St. Nicholas Christmas Market in Penally Village Hall, Penally.

Father Christmas entertained the children with his usual ho, ho, ho and was kindly flown in at great expense to themselves by Ocean Commotion.

The mulled wine flowed and everyone enjoyed a lovely relaxing atmosphere, while surrounded by stalls of gaily coloured crafts, gift wraps, jewellery, decorations and affordable gifts.

The market is to be repeated on December 13 in the Village Hall, 2-5 pm, when there will be a raffle of a luxury Christmas cake with the Cross Inn pictured on it. All proceeds to Brake road charity.

Penally Hall does need to be used more. This is a great place to hold any party, conference or association meetings. New clubs please consider the hall when you are looking for a suitable venue. It is centrally heated, double glazed, has wheelchair access, full kitchen facilities, staging, projector screen etc. This is an important part of the community, please support it.
