Twenty ladies left behind the Pembrokeshire rain on Monday evening when they entered the Salvation Army Hall for an Italian-themed evening at a meeting of the Cameo Club.

With sunny arias from Italian opera playing on CDs, the ladies enjoyed a choice of four meat and vegetarian pasta dishes, lasagne, pizza and salads. These culinery delights were prepared by Majors Denise and Martyn and assistant Judith, who worked hard to make the evening successful.

A quiz was held and it was won by Vicky from Boots - her prize, as were the prizes for the runners-up, was chocolate.

Next meeting of Cameo Ladies Fellowship is on October 20 at 7.15 pm - the topic, 'A Pictorial History of Tenby'.
