Orquesta Huracan, the hot dance floor Salsa 10-piece band, will be bringing that magic Latin music to Queen's Hall, Narberth, on Friday, July 1, to celebrate Pembrokeshire Fish Week with Latin American flair Orquesta Huracan was formed in Birmingham in 1998 and have since gone on to carve a great name for themselves around the UK dance scene. This formidable Latin orchestra plays hot, dance floor salsa, as well as Latin jazz. The group boasts an explosive acoustic line-up, backed by a powerful brass section, to create a beat that gets everyone up and dancing. Playing 'son montuno', 'comparsa' and 'rumba', Orquesta Huracan are versatile, energetic and really entertaining. They have appeared in Narberth several times and always get asked to bring back for another salsa fiesta! The group has performed regular headline concerts nationwide at top venues such as Ronnie Scott's, Casa Latina, Adrian Boult Hall, World Beat and Ipanema Latin American Festivals. This is a unique opportunity to dance to one of Britain's top salsa bands in full swing.
