Sir, Sadly, Hands On Hideaway is leaving Pembrokeshire, despite the feeling that we believed that the future was looking rosier. It seems that the local people of Pembrokeshire do not have reason to support us in sufficient numbers. For some reason, known only to Pembrokeshire County Council themselves, we have been prevented from addressing the local area headteachers‚ meeting in early October. We are now looking to relocate in the Cheltenham/Gloucester area. We would like to thank all the local children and adults who did visit us and were prepared to 'pass on the word' of our existence. We have highly valued your comments about our operation and hope that we take your best wishes with us. We are saddened that we are leaving behind such a committed and highly professional staff who have created such a child friendly and secure environment for our visitors. We will be closing our doors on Saturday, October 29, with a half price day for those of you who may still wish to visit Hands On Hideaway. Customers who purchased discount cards can collect a refund as a goodwill gesture before we close, providing they have not visited on more than five occasions.
Trevor Powell (managing director) and Lynne Webb (company secretary),
