A Kilgetty man has tragically lost his fight for life six days after he and his wife were involved in a road accident outside Bethesda Chapel on the New Hedges to Wooden road.
Eighty-two-year-old Wynford Reynolds and his 69-year-old wife, Clare, were leaving the chapel at around 7.25 pm on Sunday, December 23, when they came into contact with a Ford Escort being driven in the direction of Wooden.
Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds, of Red Croft, Cross Lanes, were taken to Withybush Hospital, Haverforwest, with serious injuries, but Mr. Reynolds tragically passed away on Friday.
The driver and front seat passenger of the Escort were also taken to Withybush where they were treated for shock.
