A number of Russian scientists and academics made a fact-finding visit to the Pembrokeshire Technium in Pembroke Dock last week.

The visitors were from Ekaterinberg in the Urals - an area rich in minerals and natural resources, particularly oil and gas - and were accompanied by members of the British Consulate in Ekaterinberg.

Pembrokeshire County Council cabinet member, Clr. Rob Lewis, who welcomed the visitors, said the purpose of their trip was to share and discuss experiences of establishing and running business parks and exploiting university research.
