Tourist operators in rural Pembrokeshire are to be given free advice on how to improve the promotion and marketing of their businesses.

Owners of guesthouses and small hotels are being invited to a meeting of Greenways Holidays next Tuesday, April 1. The meeting will include a 'Better Marketing' workshop from 11 am - at the Mariner's Hotel, Haverfordwest.

Sarah Worby, tourism development officer with PLANED said: "Places are still available at this free workshop aimed to help businesses improve their marketing through participation in Greenways Holidays and through advice offered by Dai Nicholas and Liz Mathews, of the Wales Tourist Board.

"Greenways Holidays is managed by PLANED and aims to promote high quality, rural tourism - predominantly though not exclusively to overseas tour operators."

These projects are part funded by the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund (EAGGF) and the Adfywio scheme, which is managed jointly by the Countryside Council for Wales and the Wales Tourist Board.
