Tenby adventurer Rosie Swale-Pope has reached Germany on her 20,000-mile voyage on two feet round the world.
Rosie, who left her home on her 57th birthday on October 2, telephoned her friend and running companion, Ann Rowell, from Hamburg last Thursday to report on her progress.
"She is doing well and sounded full of it," Ann told the Observer afterwards.
"She has received a lot of support along the way, particularly in Holland, and says her legs are getting used to all the running.
"She has been delayed a little as she has had to stop for a couple of days to have a corn cut out from her toe. She has been wearing a special slipper and has been spending her time writing, but still hopes to be in Talin by Christmas."
