Welsh rugby star, Phil Bennett OBE was in Penally this week.
As a representative of the Wooden Spoon, the children's charity of rugby, he visited The Wheelabout, the Harriet Davis Trust's holiday house for families with disabled children, to mark the refurbishment of the indoor heated swimming pool which the charity had funded.
Phil was accompanied by the chairman of the Wales committee, Brinley Groves, and other committee members.
Kit Davis, trustee of the Harriet Davis Trust, said: "The swimming pool is a tremendous asset for the children to use as it gives them a freedom of movement which they may not otherwise experience.
"The warmth of the water and the gentle exercise, without any weight bearing, is very therapeutic, as well as being great fun which all the family can enjoy together."
