More than 200 young rugby stars did battle on the golden sands of Newgale and despite some breezy conditions, the youngsters had a great afternoon of rugby skills with two of their local Scarlets heroes.
Primary school squads from all over Pembrokeshire flocked to the popular Scarlets Beach Fives event held at Newgale Sands.
And Scarlets players, international Wales centre Jon Davies and lock Dominic Day, who are both from the Pembrokeshire, joined the young players at the event held early July.
Around 20 school squads enjoyed the five-hour tournament special which included Neyland School and Tenby School.

And for any enthusiastic young players looking to sharpen up their rugby skills this summer and have lots of fun in the process, the Scarlets will be holding their Summer Rugby Camps - at Parc y Scarlets for the first time. They will feature rugby-themed fun-packed activities and coaching.
The players will be put through their paces by coaches linked to the region - and will meet some of their Scarlets heroes and red dragon mascot Cochyn.
Justin Lloyd, head of the Scarlets community department, said: "We expect a bumper turnout just like previous years. Our three-day camps will be extra special this year because, with our move to the fabulous Parc y Scarlets, we have great new facilities. Our camps will be based in the fantastic indoor training barn and on our match-quality training pitch."
The July 28-30 camp is for those in the current school Years Three and Four. August 11-13 is for Years Five and Six. Each day runs from 10 am - 3 pm.
Participants receive a Scarlets T-shirt, a certificate of achievement, a ticket to the new season's first home game in the Magners League plus other goodies.
Justin Lloyd said: "There's a strong emphasis on learning, development and fun. We want everyone to have a great time whilst improving as players."
The cost of the course is just £50. For application forms, phone 01554 783927, 783934 or email [email protected]">[email protected].
