Although unforeseen problems have delayed refurbishment works, Tenby United's Upper Frog Street clubhouse will be open over the festive period thanks to the help of Bass Brewers.

Club chairman Derek Lloyd said that the aim had been to complete the refurbishment of the club by Christmas, but 'structural issues' which needed to be addressed had added several weeks to the project.

"However, with the help of Bass Brewers, we have been able to fit out the bar in the upstairs room," explained Mr. Lloyd.

"This not only means that we can once again entertain visiting teams, but also that we now have two bars available for the festive period.

"We regret the inconvenience caused to our members, but we hope they agree that we had to do the job properly," he continued. "We are confident all will be very pleased with the refurbished club, but remind everyone that we are very much open for business over the festive period."
