Narberth's County Councillor Wynne Evans has had something of a 'rubbish' start to the new year. Well, perhaps not quite, but refuse has been one of the first problems he has had to deal with in 2007 after it was reported to him that a number of streets in the town had not had their scheduled Christmas refuse collected. Said Clr. Evans: "I have now had confirmation that Pembrokeshire County Council has extra crews working in all parts of the county to correct this. The people of Narberth will get a full collection tomorrow (Saturday) morning if their normal collection day is Monday, otherwise normal collections will be Mondays and Wednesdays. I apologise to householders for problems caused over the festive season."
