Imagine the excitement of Olivia Lucy Vanner-Thompson, of Holyland Drive, Pembroke, when she recently received a letter with the Buckingham Palace crest on it.

Ten-year-old Olivia, delighted at the prospect of a royal wedding, had sent a congratulatory card to Prince William and Kate Middleton and was delighted to receive a reply saying how thrilled they both were to be getting married, and thanking Olivia her for her good wishes.

Olivia brought the letter to her school at Lamphey and her classroom teacher, Mr. Allan, read it to her class.
