At the Commemoration of the Falklands Conflict and Veterans Day Service on June 17, at St. Mary's Church, Haverfordwest, the standards of the Royal British Legion, RAFA and the Fire Service were paraded. The service was conducted by Canon Derek Evans and Bishop Ivor Rees. The reading was given by the Mayor of Haverfordwest, Clr. Roy Thomas, and the Falklands War summary by Mr. Peter Harrison, chairman of Haverfordwest Royal British Legion. Tea and refreshments were served after the service. Tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday, the Haverfordwest Royal British Legion will lay wreaths at the Menin Gate in Ypres and the Mametz Wood Welsh Memorial in France.
