Guests of honour Roy Noble and his lovely wife Elaine joined a large throng in the sunshine on Saturday for the opening of the West Wales Maritime Heritage Society Museum at Hancock’s Yard in Pembroke Dock.

Mr. and Mrs. Noble had never been to the Boatyard before. Roy, whose parents were born at 27 Waterloo, opened the event at 1 pm prompt. He was amazed at what was being done to preserve our Maritime Heritage.

Roy and Elaine were given a complete tour of the Boatyard and Museum plus of course the new Blacksmith’s Shop, The Charterhouse Lifeboat and the Escape Room Boat. They left at 3.30 pm, thrilled at what they had seen, then they were treated to a meal at the Shipwright Inn to finish off their day.
