Narberth and Whitland Round Tablers will be flying around communities in the area tomorrow (Saturday) for a fun charity event which they are calling The Red Barrows.

Members will be dressed as WWI pilots and will be performing carefully choreographed manoeuvres pushing red wheel barrows, cunningly disguised as fighter planes, visiting - Saundersfoot, Coppett Hall, Amroth, Wisemans Bridge, Begelly, Kilgetty, Templeton, Narberth, Whitland, Clynderwen and Llandissilio, with the aim of raising £1,500 towards building a purpose-built outdoor play area at Ty Hafan.

Many local businesses have kindly agreed to sponsor the Red Barrows, with thanks going to - Brian Elkins and Sons; Gravells of Narberth; MDC Contractors; Jamboree, High Street, Narberth; APX Solutions; Martin Everett Solicitor.

Thanks also go to - Simon Fussel, Llandissilio, for sorting and collecting wheelbarrows; Gravells of Narberth for supplying two vehicles for the day; all the Tablers for putting the time and effort in for the fundraiser; and everyone who has donated so far.

A further thanks goes to John Goble, of J and N Engineering, for transforming the barrows.
