The Rotary Club of Tenby recently attended the Scout and Guide Hall in Warren Street to make donations to the Cub Scouts, Brownies and Guides of Tenby.

All cheques were warmly received and the Rotarians present were given an insight into the current activities of the organisations.

The dedication of both the club members and the leaders to their organisations is admirable, and fully deserving of the support that Rotary was very pleased to be able to give.

It was unfortunately noted with sadness that there is currently no Scouts in Tenby, due to the absence of adult leaders, and the Cubs would also welcome more leaders to come forward and assist with the running of the pack. (If you are able to help, please contact Cub leader Mrs. Mo Crockford, at the Scout and Guide Hall, Warren Street, Tenby).

The 3rd and 4th Tenby Brownies will use their donation to assist with the cost of their upcoming visit to the Welsh Guiding Centre at 'Broneirion', Mid Wales, when some 380 Brownies are to take part in a fellowship and fun day, whilst the Cubs said that they would use their donation to assist with the needs of the less able.
