The Rotary Club of Tenby have recently made a number of further donations to local charities and good causes.
The donations, at a recent club meeting, were made to Pembrokeshire Young Carers, whose representative, Sally Davies, of PAVS (Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services), had previously given a talk on the plight faced by young carers in our county; the Harriet Davies Trust, which the club holds in high regard and first helped a few years ago; and Tenby Talking Observer, a group of people who meet regularly on Friday mornings to read articles from the Tenby Observer on to tape, for posting to and subsequent enjoyment by those with sight deficiencies, a service much valued by the recipients.
The club also supported two organisations which have helped the club at their many fund-raising events, namely the St. John Ambulance and Tenby Brass Band, both of whose contributions are invaluable and much appreciated.
