District Governor Roy and Jen Blacker are pictured with president Norman Spence, in front of the club's contribution to Saundersfoot's Sensory Garden, given in 2005, when Rotarians all around the world celebrated a century of service in their communities. Rotary is a volunteer organisation, with over 32,000 clubs in 200 countries and geographical areas, and it initiates humanitarian programmes that address today's challenging issues, such as hunger, drugs, poverty and illiteracy. Rotary Club members represent a cross-section of business and professional leaders worldwide, who donate their expertise, time and funds to support local, national and international projects, that help people in need and promote understanding among cultures.
