Narberth and Whitland Rotary fundraisers were on hand at the Otters match on Saturday to show support for the people of Ukraine.
A massive £600 was collected on the day, and with the Rotary club donating £1,000 to the cause, a total of £2,325 has been raised so far.
Shout outs go to young Morgan Phillips who donated £1.50 of his pocket money to the collection; whilst after the game another gentleman Vaughan Llewellyn approached one of the Narberth RFC committee members to generously donate his £50 prize winnings from the supporters raffle towards the Rotary Ukraine appeal.
The Rotary are sending the money to a joint project of the Rotary Club of Warsaw Wilanow International in Poland and Lviv International Rotary Club.
Don’t forget if anyone wants to donate to the Rotary appeal for Ukraine you can do so on the website: https://www.rotarywales.co.uk/.../rotary-collection-for.../
Every penny raised goes directly to Rotarians on the ground in Poland and Ukraine; with Rotarians in Germany also purchasing and transporting much needed supplies for those in need.
