At a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Pembroke held at The Helm, Pembroke Dock, Rotarians were given an insight into digital safety and fraud prevention. The presentation was given by Maren Hamre, a newly appointed NatWest community banker for the Pembrokeshire and Cardigan area.
NatWest is a founding partner of the Friends Against Scams programme together with National Standards. The aim of the programme is simple - to reduce the number of people falling victim to criminal scams.
Members present found the presentation extremely interesting and gained considerable benefit from the various ‘hints and tips’ on how to prevent fraud provided by Maren Hamre.
