TENBY adventurer, Rosie Swale Pope has reached Canada on her epic 20,000-mile world run. Rosie has been following the Alaskan highway into Canada and on Sunday reached Haines Junction. She should be in Whitehorse in a few days, which is about 200 miles into Canada. Rosie's son, James, recently met up with her and her new Silver Dream Machine sled which she has named 'Silver' before she left Alaska. The sled was commissioned by Runners World magazine who have been a huge supporter of Rosie's world run.  Rosie is very pleased with 'Silver' as when she gets tired she is able to flop down and sleep without having to put up a tent. Although it is quite a lot bigger and heavier than Hercules, her last sled, it is very manoeuvrable with the steering front wheel and holds far more. Abigail Neal from BBC Wales also travelled over on the same flight as James to stay for a week to film Rosie for a documentary for BBC Wales.
