A COUPLE from Tenby have finished runners-up in a competition to find Wales' most romantic readers.

Eloise and Guy Williams came second in the 'Stori Sydyn Quick Reads St. Dwynwen's Day' competition, losing out to a couple from Newport who first met at a library in 1984 and who will finally tie the knot this year.

A short film of the winners love story, along with those of the finalists, was shown as part of a special launch event at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay on Monday.

Eloise and Guy received their runners-up prize, a bundle of Quick Reads 2012 from comedienne Helen Lederer (seen right) at the event.
