Roll up, roll up for a week-long Big charity Book Sale starting in Narberth today (Friday) at the Span Arts building on the Town Moor.
Bookworms and literary lovers are welcome to browse through a massive collection of books which has kindly been donated over the last few months.
Manager Gwen Watson explains that it started with a box: "One of our trustees made a kind donation of a few boxes of books and we started selling them outside our building for donations.
"Next thing we knew, people started dropping off their own pre-loved collections, and recently someone turned up with a car load following a house clearance!"
While the books are a kind donation, Span Arts are running out of room to house them in their newly refurbished gallery and workshop space, so they've decided it's time for the weighty collection of tomes to go.
With everything from Tony Parsons to Ben Elton, John Grisham to Dan Brown, Catherine Cookson to Josephine Cox, there is something for all tastes.
The sale will start today (Friday) and will run all week, including tomorrow (Saturday).
All books will be sold for a donation and all proceeds will go towards Span Arts and their programme of arts activities, including workshops for children and young people at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training).
Get there early to pick up a bargain!
