Sixth Form students from Tenby's Greenhill School were among those from around the county and from Carmarthenshire who took part in a workshop to build chemical powered rockets as part of recent National Science Week activities organised by Pembrokeshire Darwin Science Festival. The rocket workshop was run by a team from SETPOINT Wales who work closely with the Science Festival on a variety of projects. The chemical rockets the students constructed have a range of up to 300 feet and therefore permission was given to use the launch site at Manorbier Army Range. The students are pictured with their rockets in front of a rather larger missile at the range.
