Join Scolton Manor for a ‘Whizzpopping Weekend’ as it celebrates the life and work of Roald Dahl!
The popular Pembrokeshire attraction will be marking the 100th anniversary of the author’s birth with a weekend of themed activities on Saturday and Sunday, September 10 and 11.
Enjoy tantalising tales and revolting rhymes in the Manor House at 11 am and 3.30 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Spaces are limited.
Get creative in the special craft area or take on a range of quizzes, both available each day between 11 am and 4 pm.
The storytelling, crafts and quizzes are included in the normal admission price for the Manor House: £3.50 for adults, £2.35 for concessions and children over four years and £9.35 for a family ticket (two adults and up to three children).
Make some ‘wonkalicious’ sweets in the Manor House kitchen at special ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ cookery sessions, available each day at 11.30 am and 2.30 pm. The sessions cost £2 per child, and tickets must be booked in advance.
If you’d like to spend time in the picturesque grounds, go on ‘The Great Giant Hunt’ and find all the Giants who have escaped from ‘Giant Country’ to win a prize. The trail is available between 11 am and 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday, at a cost of £1 per child.
For enquiries and to book tickets for the cookery sessions, contact Nikki Caldwell on 01437 731 328 or [email protected]
