Dyfed Powys Police are investigating a fatal road traffic on the B4314 Red Roses to Pendine Road on Tuesday morning.

The two vehicles involved in the collision, which occurred at 10.15 am, were a HGV lorry and a motor car.

The female passenger of the car received fatal injuries.

The male driver of the car was injured and taken by ambulance to West Wales General Hospital, Glangwili, Carmarthen.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact Carmarthen police on 01267 232000.
