Mrs. Kath Luger, of the New Inn, Amroth, was presented with an RNLI Certificate of Thanks by Pam Mortimer, chair of the Saundersfoot RNLI committee, at a ceremony at Tenby's new lifeboat house on September 23.

Mrs. Luger's late husband, Paul, was rescued by Tenby lifeboat in 1959 and the family have been actively involved in fund-raising for the RNLI ever since.

The committee's next fund-raising events are a Christmas Coffee Morning in the Sun Lounge of the Regency Hall on Thursday, October 27, from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm and an Afternoon Tea at the Cambrian Hotel on Saturday, November 19.

Christmas cards and calendars will be available at both events. Please suport these events. You might even decide to join, as new members would be welcome.
