John Evenden, of 'The Candy', was recently presented with a certificate of appreciation from Tenby RNLI in recognition of his enormous contribution to Tenby branch.
John and his staff have raised money over a number of years by selling RNLI Christmas cards, calendars and diaries in 'The Candy' during October.
In the run up to Christmas, John has allowed the RNLI to use the premises as their Christmas 'shop.' During this period sales have usually totalled about £1,500.
John has also, in the past, served on the local RNLI management committee. The Tenby branch are pleased to be able to acknowledge John's generosity to the lifeboat service.
