This year, the RNLI is asking everyone to do a Mayday Mile to help raise much needed funds to keep their life-saving work afloat. Usually RNLI lifesavers answer Mayday calls but this month they are asking you to help them.

You can do your Mayday Mile anywhere, on the beach, in the park, in the garden, even in the swimming pool ! Walk it, run it, skate it or do it in wellies! Challenge yourselves or challenge your friends. The money you raise will help get our lifesavers ready the next time they’re needed. You can sign up on rnli.org/pages/mayday, or on Tenby RNLI Fundraisers Facebook page. If you’d prefer a paper sponsor form , these will be available at the Tenby RNLI shop on Castle Hill.

To kickstart the Mayday month, committee members of Tenby Fundraisers, led by President Shan, will be walking a mile around Tenby from 11 am on Monday May 2 with collecting buckets. Look out for them, cheer them on their way and maybe help to fill those buckets and keep our boats afloat.
