Pictured is Cody Davies, aged 11, who did his first New Year’s Day Swim in Saundersfoot this year alongside his dad who both dressed as teenage mutant ninja turtles!

Cody raised £100 which he chose to donate to Tenby RNLI.

“The crew do an amazing job keeping us all safe at sea and it was a pleasure to be able to give a little something back,” he said.

Cody’s great-great-grandfather, George Hooper, was also coxswain of Tenby lifeboat, 1931-1946.

Cody presented the money to Steve (Teeny) Lowe, RNLI mechanic, who gave Cody and his family a tour of the lifeboat, with Cody getting to sit in the coxswain’s seat - an unexpected treat! Many thanks to Steve for this.
